About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Intelligence & Reporting Lead to join our Group Finance team in Sydney. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development, maintenance, and improvement of Power BI reports, build and maintain underlying data models, and deliver a fully automated suite of reports within a robust governance framework.

What you’ll do

  • Build and deliver automated reports for Group FP&A using Power BI; ensuring reports are scheduled, updated, and maintained as needed
  • Maintain and enhance existing Power BI reporting structures (Semantic Models)
  • Apply advanced DAX and visualisation methods to ensure reports are innovative and user-friendly
  • Extract and transform data from multiple sources, including Azure Databricks, into Power BI
  • Automate and uplift existing forecast models to reduce manual errors and ensure compliance within the governance framework

Your experience

  • Extensive experience with Power BI (development, publishing, and scheduling)
  • Strong technical aptitude in multiple platforms such as Databricks, Power BI, Power Query, DAX and SQL
  • Proven experience in data integration—extracting and transforming data from multiple sources
  • Proven ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including General Managers, and bridge technical and non-technical communications
  • High level of creativity, motivation, and a continuous improvement mindset
