AEMO has marked the closing of the 2020 ISP and commencement of the next.

The Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) has completed an 18-month consultation program for the 2020 Integrated System Plan (ISP).

The ISP maps out the forecast transition of the National Electricity Market and AEMO’s optimal development path to maximise consumer benefits and deliver $11 billion in net market benefits to 2040.

AEMO has also marked the start of the draft consultation and publication timeline for the 2022 ISP.

It has organised virtual workshops to engage on the design of scenarios that will be used for upcoming forecasting and planning activities, including the 2022 ISP.
