About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join our Corporate and Technology Finance team in Sydney. This position plays a critical role in providing cost oversight, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the Technology, Finance, P&C, Corporate Affairs, Sustainability, and Governance business pillars.

What you’ll do
- Build out detailed monthly reporting and performance assessments, including actuals vs. forecast, variances, and corporate overhead analysis
- Develop and implement overhead reports, partnering with corporate stakeholders to assess performance against the financial plan, and create remediation strategies when necessary
- Ensure robust business cases are developed for all Information Technology projects and ensure costs are capitalized according to policy
- Support the development of strategic plans and oversee the preparation of 2-year budgets and 5-year plans using Oracle. Document and validate budget assumptions
- Build and maintain productive relationships with senior stakeholders across Corporate Functions, delivering outputs that meet the needs of key stakeholders
Your experience
- Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field, coupled with in-depth accounting standards and CA / CPA Qualification (or equivalent)
- Confidence in engaging and challenging stakeholders, paired with resilience and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in performance reporting and business evaluation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to work across all levels of the business
- Proficient in the use of Power BI and utilising dashboards to provide insights
