HSE Advisor - FIFO - 2/1 Roster

Job Description
The Role
Join the Pacific Energy Remote Power team, as they deliver sustainable power generation assets throughout Australia.
Due to our continued growth and expansion, we have an opportunity for a HSE Advisor on a 2:1 roster to support our Remote Power Project Delivery Team. This is a cross functional role to the business and offers a variety of both HSE and general business activities as the project requires.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to HSE discussions, training, risk assessments, toolbox discussions and other HSE Initiatives
- Facilitate toolboxes, Health and Safety Meetings and training presentations throughout the business
- Provide feedback on HSE management system documentation and tools
- Coordinate the investigation and reporting of reportable incidents and accidents in the workplace
- Review personnel medicals and other onboarding requirements
- Assist in the development and implementation of the safety induction, safe act observation and VOC programs
- Create relevant safety documentation
- Assist in the assessment of impacts on Safety and Environment of planned and actual changes to the workplace and work practices
- Offer stakeholders direction regarding safety, health, environmental and training.
- Assist in injury and incident management in line with company procedure.
- Assist in project and general business HSE safety requirements
- Track compliance across the business with regards to relevant accreditations (ISO, CM3 etc)
- Manage accreditation and reaccreditation applications/process (ISO, CM3 etc)
- Verify that all company and regulatory policies and procedures have been documented, implemented, and communicated.
- Inspect and audit the workplace (including remote, non-metro sites) in accordance with the Internal Audit Schedule
- Ensure compliance with Pacific Energy HSEQ, policies and procedures
- Foster a workforce culture of excellence, innovation, honesty, and teamwork
Desired Skills and Experience
About You:
- Competent use in MS Office software program
- High level knowledge in QMS policies and procedures
- ICAM Investigation
- Training Lead auditor trained to ISO 9001,45001 14001
- Minimum Cert IV in WHS
- Experience in Auditing Experience working to the standards of ISO 9001,45001 14001
- Prompt culture of quality, continuous improvement and risk mitigation
