The opportunity:
As a Quality and Assurance Specialist, you will develop, implement, monitor, and review the Operations and Service Delivery Division's quality, risk, compliance, and information management systems to ensure they are effective and up to date.
- Offer expert advice and oversight to ensure the Division meets and demonstrates compliance with mandatory requirements.
- Support ongoing compliance and certification to ISO 9001 and other quality standards through internal audits and third-party certifications.
- Ensure the Division has reliable information, records, and documents to meet compliance obligations and deliver functional responsibilities.
- Help identify and assess risks and support risk owners in managing and monitoring those risks and controls.
- Provide training and advice to management and staff to ensure effective adoption of quality, compliance, risk, and information management systems.
- Monitor and review systems to ensure their adequacy and effectiveness.
- Oversee the process for capturing issues, non-conformances, and improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of solutions.
- Assist in maintaining the Division’s business continuity plans.

You will join a dynamic and high-achieving team, reporting to the Team Leader, Quality and Assurance, within our broader Operational Support Services division based in Virginia. This team is committed to excellence and innovation, continually striving to enhance and perfect quality, risk, compliance, and information management systems.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree level qualification in Business, Quality Management or similar.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience in quality, governance, risk, compliance, and information management systems, especially in the utility, asset management, or resources sector. You will excel in guiding organisations with significant statutory obligations, managing business improvements, and facilitating change through structured practices. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with commercial acumen, are essential. The ideal candidate will also hold a lead auditor qualification.
