About the role:

Reporting to the Project Development Manager, the role involves actively engaging with local and global suppliers to support the construction, operation, and maintenance of offshore wind farms in Australia. The role shapes procurement and tendering strategies and supports the achievement of local procurement objectives. Collaboration with engineering, project management, and government relations is essential to ensure clear communication of project requirements to all stakeholders.

In this role, you’ll:

• Keep up to date professionally about industry best practices and new developments.
• Establish and nurture robust connections with internal clients, joint venture partners, and supporting functions to ensure seamless collaboration.
• Shape procurement and tendering strategies, facilitating local involvement and ensuring the achievement of optimal project results.

Ideally, you’ll bring to the role:

• Extensive experience in procurement management for major offshore wind projects.
• Close relationships and large network with global offshore wind suppliers.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and outgoing personality.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant discipline.
